Letters

Jane Austen was a prolific and faithful correspondent with her sister, Cassandra. Perhaps unfortunately, Cassandra followed Jane's wishes and burnt most of her letters after her death. Our newsletter, "My Dear Cassandra", is named in honour of this lost treasure.

Also, we are pleased to offer access to Jottings, the newsletter of the Edmonton Jane Austen Society. Edmonton has a large chapter of enthusiastic participants. Read about their many celebrations of Jane Austen's work.
