Meetings 2019 - 2020

September 21 - Upstairs-Downstairs: Celebrating the Anticipated Downton Abbey movie! We will uncover the 'downstairs' in the Regency Period and how the roles were referenced in Jane Austen. A creative writing 'downstairs-upstairs' group activity will bring out the author in all of us.

November 16 - Topic to be announced

January 18 - Jane Austen Birthday Tea

March 21 - Topic to be announced

May 9 - Mothers in Jane Austen - Join us for Mother's Day weekend fun! Why were the mothers hysterical, naive, common or absent? What role did the mothers play and how did they impact the heroines?

We so look forward to seeing you there.
