Virtual Get Together
This year we held our annual tea, with a twist. Members were encouraged to bring out their favorite scone recipes or check out the local Calgary caterers and join us for a proper cup of tea... Zoom style.
Zoom invitations were sent to all members and we had a great turnout. The tea sets were out in full force along with fascinators and doilies. Many made their own scones and treats but many too ordered from our select caterers:
Those who did were treated to custom Jane cookies and a variety of sandwiches, scones, jams, and desserts.
As we had just passed Valentine’s Day love was in the air. Midway through the tea we were treated to a chat on Tom Lefroy, Janes suspected love interest, by our own JASNA Calgary member Amber. A great deal of detective work was set on trying to make out the meaning of letters and exchanges.
It was another wonderful chance for all of us to stay connected through our Dear Jane.
